Liquid Image has recently announced a whole line of camera equipped head gear for winter and water sports.  The new line of products will feature camera-equipped ski masks, swimming goggles and scuba masks. Liquid Image is revealing the new products at this years CES 2010.

The Liquid Image Summit Series is the world’s first snow goggle with an integrated digital camera.  The Summit Series Snow Camera Goggle 335 integrates a 5 megapixel still camera / video camera capable of shooting 720 x 480 resolution video at 30 frames a second with audio. Recon Instruments is planning to put a heads up display inside ski-goggles.  We’ve been waiting for eyewear display’s for quite some time now.  It’s about time this long-time video game feature is finally going to make its way into real world products.  The system works by integrating a GPS-linked heads-up display system(HUD), and ski goggles.

Recon Instruments is reportedly developing the technology right now, and if they can stay on track, a heads-up-display set of goggles will be be on sale next fall between $350 to $450. This glove has a microphone/speaker, call and end buttons, vibrate, and flashing call indicator.
