O’Neill is at it again. The fashionwear company has announced O’Neill 365, the activewear collection for women that has some tech bells and whistles. This line is designed with active in mind. In short, it’s sportswear. However, it’s not just any old sportswear. No that would be too boring.

The magic is in the fabric. The line is made from their patented 3XDRY fabric, which has a water-repellent exterior and absorbent interior to eliminate sweat marks completely.  Additional tech features include anti-static fabric, odor-resistant treatments, UV30+ fabric to protect the skin, wind-resistant and water-resistant characteristics, HB3 headphones and wicking technology to promote dryness.

The line doesn’t hit stores until Spring 2012, so don’t start camping outside of your favorite retailer just yet. Good things come to those who wait, after all.

Stealing hotel towels is a rite of passage for travelers, right? Well those days may long be over. Hotels are starting to take towel theft seriously. How serious are they? Certain chains have begun implanting specially designed RFID chips in towels. Really? Really.

The chips, designed by Miami-based Linen Technology Tracking, can be sewn directly into towels, bathrobes or bed sheets. These chips can also withstand over 300 washes. What do they do? If you try to leave the hotel premises with said towels or bed spreads, an alarm will go off.  You will be humiliated and may even cry. It will be a bad scene all around.

Casio has been in the watch game a long time. They’ve changed things up a bit with a new version of their G-Shock collection of watches. The aesthetics were handled by famous designers Dee and Ricky Jackson. As you can see, this new version of the G-Shock GA110 is quite spiffy looking indeed.

Zenga adds to it’s tech clothing line with the Freeway Jacket. This jacket features water resistant, breathable fabric. The leather and neoprene details lend to its urban look. The LEDs are located on the collar and provide safety. Look for this item to hit stores soon.

Redline iPod enabled MacBook Case by NXT

NXT is cranking out some great new products. The Redline iPod Sound Bag features NXT speaker technology similar to the Targus SonicPak. Zenga Sport iJacket

Zegna has more than the Leather iJacket in their Wearable Electronic Fashion collection. Looking a bit around in their online store, I found another item in Zegna’s Signature Looks section, the new iJacket.

The design and functionality is distinctive in the new iJacket where sporting and technology are fused together.

The iJacket is made of a special micro-nylon technical fabric with a brushed fabric finish for a smooth exterior to achieve a natural feel, pleasant to the touch.

Heat-welded ribbons on seams make the iJacket fully windproof and waterproof. Other features are a convertible collar that holds a detachable hood and has a loop for headphone cable management.

The invisible laser cut pockets with waterproof zips and underarm vents are as technically effective as they are discreet like everything about the iJacket.
