Pressure sensors on the rug activate electroluminescent designs to make the rug glow when stepped on. Ian Walton and teammate Eoin McNally designed this pillow to convey the feeling of natural sunlight. The pillow uses an LED fabric to display the glowing and also doubles as read-out for the the clock function as well.
The process works by starting the gentle illuminations 40 minutes before the alarm is scheduled to go off. Kanye West is no stranger to over-the-top behavior. Who better to bring wearable electronics to center stage. Kanye’s jackey featured an array of LEDs and EL wires making an animated light effect on both sides of his jacket.Like his outfit designed by Moritz Waldemeyer used in OK Go, this item was a show stopper. Mountain sports have gotten safer and more comfortable thanks to Vaude and their Argon Hybrid Performance System. They have implemented a breathable, glow-in-the-dark fabric known as Energlo.
The solar charging jacket collects energy from light and can last up to 180 minutes once it gets dark. Integrated with this material are other florecenct fibers to provide additional safety. This break-thru material stands up to the outdoor conditions and also survives washing.
Cool tech like this is highlighted at ISPO. This is a very practical use of Energlo.

Judging on the wide variety of designs and the constant additions, I would assume those T-shirts have their fans.T-Groove is the latest edition to those T-Qualizer tees, a funky psychedelic design that adds motion to your T-Shirt and gives dancing a new meaning.

Tomorrow Incorporated, a new consumer goods company that produces toys and wearable apparel for kids, have developed the Britepack, the latest light enhanced bag.
Triggered by movement or impact, the Britepack sets off a pattern of LED lights and shuts off when the bag is put down. Its fun for kids and has strong parent appeal, since in low-light conditions kids can be more readily seen in traffic and urban areas.
‘The light-up and roller shoes have been available for awhile now, so we wanted to take “wearable tech” to the next level,’ said Jim Huntley, Chief Marketing Officer of Tomorrow Incorporated.
