
You have a smartphone that tells you when you have new emails, but do you have a shirt that does the same thing? Didn’t think so. You know who does, though? Two industrious modders known as Chris and Madeline. This husband and wife duo has created a t-shirt that lets you know when you have new emails.
It gets this done using an Arduino Lilypad microcontroller, a few LEDs, conductive thread, and a Bluetooth dongle. The result? A flashing light when your friends and family are letting you know what is up, or when an African prince lets you know you are about to be the proud recipient of a billion dollars.

Cute Circuit has its Galaxy Dress on display aat the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago. This dazzling dress features 24,000 LEDs and is a truly stunning piece of tech clothing. The dress is made with 2mm by 2mm LEDs woven into a silk chiffon and organza crinoline fabrics. This makes the dress more flowing and wearable. Power comes from several iPod batteries that are hidden into the garment itself. This is perhaps the most tasteful LED garment to date.

Brando Workshop has released another interesting product. WiFi Detection Cap finds 802.11 b/g/n signals. Using LEDs, one to show network availability and the other to show strength. The hat come is two varieties, a laptop design or a XM like design, and three colors: red, white, black). The two CR2032 batteries are included.Funny thing about this hat is that the wearer cannot actually see the activity while wearing it. Maybe this is an accessory to the Firebox WiFi shirt, or the ThinkGeek Wi-Fi shirt. Well for $14.00 it is a fun toy.

But unlike other wearble display comapanies, EroGear is offering their wearable display as an aftermarket display option which can be integrated into any jacket of your choice.
Here are some of the impressive features EroGear is offering in their tailor made display jackets:
A software package that takes still images and exports them into a proprietary format for use with EroGear displays. Video content is uploaded by first exporting a video file then running it through the provided software.
Three ways are on offer to create the display content. Inputing the text directly on the display controller for a scrolling ’stock-ticker’ like text animation. Secondly, you can pre-render text or graphic using video rendering programs Apple’s Motion 3 or Adobe After Effects.
