Sonic Impact has introduced both Roxy and Quicksilver iPod Speaker Cases. These cases are speaker laden and protect you gear from sun, sand, wind, and dirt. The Roxy edition is $119.99 and the Quicksilver one is $99.95.There is a decent sound quality to the iPod case, Sonic Impact uses aluminum cone neodymium drivers combined with their and advanced Maxxbass technology that provides an enhanced bass response while minimizing distortion. 4x AA batteries will last a whole day but if you plan to use this cases as a backup in your home, there is an AC power adapter included as well. Yesterday Quiksilver and Plantronics kicked off a new strategic partnership to outfit outdoor sports enthusiasts with a unique array of Bluetooth enabled sports apparel and accessories.
Quiksilver and Plantronics previewed a new collection of premium snow apparel and accessories providing wireless, high-performance stereo music and mobile phone communications.
This is a new and interesting alliance which includes the Quiksilver and Roxy brands and Plantronics which is recognized as a leader of Bluetooth voice and stereo technology. On a side note: In 1969, a Plantronics headset carried the historic first words from the moon: “That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.”
