We told you about the Mutewatch several months back, and it looks like the touch screen-enabled wonder-watch is almost ready to be purchased.
The watch, by the Swedish company the same name, is an interesting piece of tech. It’s basically a wrist band that features a hidden touch screen. The touch screen is where all that watchy magic happens. This means when it is not in use, it just looks like a stylish wrist one-colored wrist band. Pretty cool, right?
The Mutewatch is pretty expensive, clocking in(get it?) at around $260. Still, if you are a gadget hound, you could do a lot worse than this nifty little watch come July when it officially launches.

You know what sucks about watches? They are so, well, watch-like. Mutewatch, by the Swedish company of the same name, aim to change all of that. Their just announced watch design is more like a subtle piece of the future than a watch. I mean, just look at that thing.
The Mutewatch is actually not mute at all. It even features an alarm. It is, however, a modest white band that you wrap around your arm. There is a hidden screen that only activates when swiped. This screen shows the time, let’s you fiddle with the alarm and change up some UI attributes. Simple and elegent, the Mutewatch is available now.
They are available for €199 (or about $260) and can be purchased online or at a variety of retail outlets.
