Add some sparkle to your life with this Luminex Mini-Top. We posted already earlier about the Luminex technology, the exiting way this Italian company is bringing active colors in our lives.
I find this Mini-Top very cute and it will be for sure the highlight of every evening or party in the coming holiday season.
The Mini-Top is available in two colors, white and black. It can be ordered online on Luminex’s online store for 175.- Euro but be aware that you have to order the battery pack for 18.- Euro as well as the battery charger for another 14.- Euro. Luminex is creating a type of luminescent fiber by weaving fibre-optics into fabric. This fabric can be used and treated like any other type of fabric. The fibers are attached to super bright LED’s that are controlled via a microchip with a battery power source.
The fibers are colorless by default, but they emit whatever color the microchip instructs them to emit. For example by adding a optical sensor, the clothes glow by constantly changing the colors to match the surroundings. Walk from room to room in a dark club and you’ll change colors like a chameleon. Or imagine using audio sensors to make the colors pulsate with the surrounding music.
