Burton is back with a new line of sound bags. Names of old like the Amp Pack are old news now and the new line is called Feedback Pack.
Equipt with stereo speakers, CD holder, and laptop sleeve, this bag is ready to go. Using a standard 3.5mm jack, you can hook up what ever you want to this bad boy. The speakers are weather resistant and despite not being as cool as NXT speakers, they do sound good.
Skater friendly, this bag has board straps right on the front of it. Available in Rock Salt Bullet (my personal style favorite, see photo above) and True Black Strict Plaid, the Feedback Pack can take a lot of stuff on board measuring 19in x 11in x 9in / 48cm x 27cm x ..read more
Burton is taking it old school with this retro style back pack. A pioneer in this area, Burton originally launched the Amp Pack back in 2006. It was ahead of its time with SOFTswitch remote control. This sweet iPod enabled bag comes trimmed in a black faux croc leather. To match the retro look, you may have to get on eBay to get this bad boy running. Sadly is can only use iPods up to the 4th Gen. None of the newer ones, like the Touch, Shuffle, Video, etc will work. The bag is priced at $239.90 but can be found at a lower price if you shop around online.
Apparel for the cold season have been the first clothing items that adopted electronic functions. This is for one part kind of logical because the integration is easier due to the cut of jackets that allows easier integration as compared with thinner summer clothing.
Another factor for using winter clothing to add electronic functionality is the fact that especially in cold weather, taking out the iPod from the warm pocket and change volume or song is kind of cumbersome if you have gloves on your hands.
The Audex iPod Dutchess Insulated Jacket for Women is another example from Burton on how to keep the fingers warm while swinging down the hills or enjoying the clear and crisp winter air.
Made off DWR Coated Fabric with features like Microfleece-Lined Handwarmer Pockets, Waist Gaiter, Sound ..read more
Burton’s Fall/Winter Wearable Electronic collection is extensive and available now. The first model we picked is in line with the cooler times coming up, the Audex iPod Bonded Fleece Jacket.
Flip up the hood and ignore the outside world. Wherever you go, you can control your iPod on the pocket’s wireless, removable pad, and rock out without having to take out you iPod for simple volume adjustment or skipping a song.
Slip your hands into the front kangaroo pockets and concentrate on your tunes. The Audex iPod hoody’s long-fiber fleece keeps you warm when you’re lost in la-la land.
Burton chooses not to integrate fully the remote control buttons into the fabric of the jackets but uses a small plastic keypad that can be detached.
The Audex iPod AMP Backpack is the latest model in Burton’s lineup of Wearable Electronic gear. Burton was the first company that integrated a remote control function for audio player into backpacks and the first company with an iPod ready backpack commercially available.
This cool looking Audex iPod AMP Backpack does not only carry your iPod, it has enough room for your MacBook or MacBook Pro up to 17″ – yeah, you can fit those Dell machines as well.
The integrated Audex iPod control system on the shoulder strap with the removable wireless transmitter is compatible with G3 and all newer iPod with the dock connector.
Burton developed together with Motorola the Audex technology that is used in Burton’s apparel and backpacks. Instead of integrating the remote control buttons into the backpacks shoulder ..read more

We’ve compiled an overview of all the Jackets we’ve posted over the last few months. This list shows how many different styles are already available in the Wearable Electronic clothing market.
We also give you a price indication. You might find some of these Jackets for a lower price, we just selected randomly an online store or the producer itself for a first source of ordering. We do not have any connection to those online stores and we want to be as neutral as possible. There are many other stores, online and off-line that offer these Jackets.

There is also an Outerwear style that includes built-in DJ-style speakers in the hood and/or an integrated headphone jack.
The Audex, Bluetooth-enabled is the latest and greatest jacket brought to us by a collaboration between Burton and Motorolafor the winter season 2005/06. The jacket can connect to your mobile phone and iPod by the use of an embedded system operated by an easy removable control module on the sleeve of the jacket.
The control panel is located on the left sleeve and allows you to take or make calls and switch songs on your iPod® without removing the devices from your pockets. What makes this jacket different then other ski jackets is that the control panel sports a mini caller ID screen on the sleeve…very cool.
