Sure, some t-shirts do some pretty cool things. But do any use the power of sound vibrations to charge your mobile device? We think not, until now. Orange UK’s appropriately named Sound Charge T-shirt purports to do just that.

The shirt was designed to be used at loud music festivals. If your charge is running low on your phone, all you have to do is wear the shirt near some of the festival’s many mega-loud speakers. Before long, thanks to the magic of piezoelectrics, your phone will be charged. This is truly a cool and quirky use of technology if there ever was one.

Sebastian Merchel first brought us the Sweetspotter, and now the mad genius is back with his Ar-Tees. These t-shirts put the augmented in augmented reality, allowing you to essentially wear a webcam.

How does it work? Just set up your webcam, click on your mouse a few times, and then don the t-shirt. The shirt will show on-screen whatever it is the cam is capturing. Become a hit at parties! Meet girls! Maintain untold riches and fame! Ok maybe not that last one. Girls will definitely talk to you though.

It’s a fully playable polyphonic synthesizer. Yeah you heard that right. It’s a t-shirt that moonlights as a musical instrument.

T-Sketch T-shirt with interactive white board

Interactive fashion is awesome. T-Sketch is creating a t-shirt that has a simulated white board on it. You write on it and it converts is into an illuminated message. This supposedly also has adjustable effects but that is yet to be seen.The device is rumored to run on 2x AAA batteries. Estimated cost is $59.32.

T-Groove T-Qualizer Tee
